T'was the week before Christmas...

After what feels like a very hectic couple weeks, I can finally say that i'm almost ready for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I could still use an extra week before Christmas but i'll managed without. 


I know I owe a blog on all the projects we've done, i'm just working on compiling pictures and thoughts on it all. Some projects were successful, some were not.


In the last week we have spent some great time with some amazing friends for Johns birthday, John and I went to the Broncos vs. Patriots game with Colleen and we've scrambled to get our house back together before my parents arrive. We've been successful in crossing to-do's off and I can honestly say that for the first time in awhile i'm not sitting here with about 20 other things I should be doing....only about 10. About the time John told me he wanted to start hanging sheet rock in our basement is when I put the foot down for now, that will be another project for another season. 


MY PARENTS ARE COMING! Ha, just a reminder...in case you forgot. And for those of you that don't know, my mom is my best friend and being away from her and other family members is the #1 most hard thing about being in Colorado. I'm grateful for the fact that several family members don't mind skyping every once in awhile, and for those of you that don't have skype--get that camera and make an account!


That is all for now, i'm going to enjoy a glass of wine by the Christmas Tree while I listen to some Christmas music (wait, is that called relaxing?)
