I have thought for a few days now on how I was going to write this blog and to be honest I still don't know. I'm not sure how one human being is supposed to put so many incredible emotions into writing.
We had the most amazing wedding anyone could ever ask for. I know...I know..everyone says that about their wedding. But honestly, not many people can say they got married and partied on top of the Caribbean Sea with some of this earths most incredible people around them. Well guess what? We did and we enjoyed every MINUTE of the day. There was not a single stress in the day (besides which direction my pet veil was going to go), everything went smoothly to follow the "no problem mon" mentality of Jamaica.
If you ask me in person how the day was I will fight back tears and tell you that the day was a lifetime more than I could have ever dreamed of. Granite, I was never the girl to dream of my wedding day...but now I know why, this day wasn't even dreamable. John and I truly feel incredibly blessed in more ways than we can count for all that has come our way since meeting in VT at Ashley and Richards wedding.
John and I cannot thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and congratulations! We certainly cannot thank all those that joined us in Jamaica enough! We really appreciate you all taking time out of your life to spend a week with us in paradise! There are many people we wish could have been there but we hope to celebrate with all of you on July 20th in VT--invites will be going out in the next month or so, so stay tuned!

The resort we chose was AMAZING! When we first got there I was afraid it was going to be too big. The resort was certainly big, but after an afternoon of walking around I realized it was the perfect size! There were 17 restaurants making eating choices kinda fun, there were 3 swim up bars (they were never crowded), two different beach areas and tons of small places that you could just hide and relax if you wanted to. We had a room both on the beach side and on the manor side and each location had their perks! The beach side room was nice because we were closer to the night life and the ocean. The villa on the manor side was nice because we had some fancy butlers and a very quiet private area to relax. We did not have a single complaint of the resort and neither did our 30+ guests! If you're debating where to go and you haven't gone...go to Jamaica! We're already planning on returning :)
I am going to regroup the rest of my thoughts and put those into the next post--for now i'm still trying to get back into the swing of reality. I've decided I need to become a professional vacationer...anyone care to join? Also to answer the famous question of "where are the pictures" well I promise they are coming. Josh has a solid three days worth of photos and I know it takes time to go through all of those. Plus, he was on vacation too so i'm sure he's getting back in the swing of things. Once I do get photos i'll be sure to make a photo blog and share some with y'all.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Janet Ash at All About Honeymoons for coordinating all of our travel and stay. You were truly my saving grace in this and we will recommend you over and over! This would not have been nearly as good of an experience without you! We'll be calling soon to book our next vacation!
I hope everyone has a great week!
Great to hear from you! I look forward to more of your thoughts on your wedding, honeymoon and new married life to my cousin...not too many details please ;P. So excited for pictures!!
