As Fall has arrived and is quickly getting ready to leave Colorado, John and I find ourselves comparing Fall in New England vs. Fall in Colorado. There are several similarities...changing colors, falling leaves, pumpkins, spiced apple cider, corn mazes, and pumpkin spiced everything! So you ask, what is so different? In VT and NH the best part of fall is stepping outside and having the cool fall air hit your face while the "smell" of fall hits your nose. All you Colorado people are going to call us crazy, but if you are in New England you know exactly what we are talking about...So that's what it is, we miss "the smell of fall" the smell of winter rolling in. The other difference is of course the foliage, foliage in CO is pretty I will never deny that; but after being born and raised in VT you could say we're foliage snobs! We love Colorado, but there will always be part of New England we miss on top of all our family and friends that are still there!

On a funny Colorado note, today was nearly 80 degrees at the end of October, and tomorrow night we're supposed to get 4"-6" of snow! This is the mystery of Colorado, good news snow in Denver never stays!
