Our dog, Woody most days....we have very mixed feelings about this guy.

I know, I know who writes a blog about their dog? But, if you've ever met Woody you'll know, it's worth an explanation...

For those of you who don't know, when I moved to Colorado in November 2010, we actually had Finn and Woody. Unfortunately, Finn is no longer with us but we think about him and miss him everyday. As John constantly says "there is no dog like you first dog" and well Woody is my first dog, but Finn really was the best dog out there...

Finn-Truely Johns Best Friend

So for a boxer, John actually got Woody for fairly cheap. But, he should have known after he got pulled over 3 times just in the process (Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming) that Woody was going to be nothing but bad news.  So the cheap dog, turned out not to be so cheap when adding 3 tickets into the equation. But this, this is Woody....

Hello World, Meet Woody

Good news for John is, ever since bringing Woody home, he has only been interested in other peoples expensive items, and only a lousy pair of John's headphones. We can laugh about some of the things now, but at the moment let me tell you it is not funny. I wish I had taken more picture of everything naughty he's done, but unfortunately I didn't because like I sad in the moment it really is not that funny at all...

This picture to the left is something we've seen a few times, just with different items chewed. In this picture he has chewed my $500.00 pair of prescription eye glasses, a book I happened to really be enjoying, a plastic cup and a few other things.

Now, you might be wondering what the heck is up with the picture of the cupcakes...Well, you see I don't get very crafty with baking often....but the one time I decided to make double chocolate cupcakes, Woody decided to get up on the counter and eat an ENTIRE plate of them. For those of you that don't know chocolate+dogs=deadly. So just imagine that vet bill!

I could go on and on, but you get the gist! All we can do is pray that in age he gets better, and he is....a smidge.
