A great four days with Thanksgiving in between!

Ahhhh, a great four days off for sure! It's so nice to get some extra time off of work and to spend time with great family and friends!


Tyler and Amy came down Wednesday afternoon and we found ourselves out and about meeting up with some friends. We started our night out at Denver Beer Company of course and then mingled over to Bar Loui to meet up with some fine friends :)

Thanksgiving the next day was great! It was a beautiful near 70 degrees out, John had all the cooking under control and although not the homebrew we hoped for....some good brew. Here are some pictures from the day...

I just now noticed, that I am not in a single picture and that John and I didn't get a photo together...oops. On Friday Tyler, Amy and I went to Boulder while John worked and we also got in a little Black Friday shopping. By little I mean, I got the programmable crock pot I wanted for $20 and Ty and Amy got a Miter Saw for $50 off. Exciting, I know I know. But, I am EXTREMELY excited about my crock pot! (Send me any good recipes) On Saturday we found ourselves at Drydock Brewing for their HO HO HO Slapdown voting on their next "Winter Brew" sadly from our opinion the worst one won....but you'll have that! Sunday, well Sunday involved the same thing as always...Laundry, food and FOOTBALL!! 


Overall it really was a great 4 days with ALOT of food, great friends and family and some good brew! Now we're gearing up for Christmas, we are going get our tree soon and start getting the other decorations up. John already got the lights up outside, so that's a bonus! I'm excited for the Holiday Season to be here and even more excited to see parents!
