Focus = 0

Today....oh today....I have NO focus. I guess I shouldn't just say today, this entire work week has been a wash for me so far. I cannot get ANYTHING done. My to do list is staring at me like my dog does when he sees the treat bag. I have had the same 10-15 things on my to do list this entire week! So what am I doing right now instead of working? Oh, i'm blogging at work...that right, I did it. 


I can't say I really have a ton to say even though it feels like I have a tornado of thoughts in my head. I'm still in awe that it's November and the holiday season is upon us. With that, it means we're getting closer to my parents being here for Christmas so that in itself is extremely exciting. Johns birthday is also in December, he says he doesn't want to do anything for it...but who says that and actually means it? No one. So i'm pondering up some ideas on what we can do, we both know we need a weekend away but unfortunately money situations make that much easier said than done. 


I guess some things on my mind are:


1. Johns dad is back home from the hospital for the SECOND time in a month. We are hoping that this time things are finally good enough for him to heal the way he needs to!
2. I want everything that I'm finding on Pinterest right now, but when it comes down to it I have an awful sense of fashion and can't put outfits together for the life of me!
3. I have some friendships that I know I need to reconcile, but not sure where to start or if the idea would be reciprocated. 
4. I want a weekend away, but i'm not sure it'll ever be possible. 
5. I blame this weeks time change for my lack of work motivation, although i've been doing great with other things like the gym, and socializing with friends--work is just taking the toll this week I guess! 
6. Oh, I hate the scale in our bathroom....it gives me mean looks and numbers I do not enjoy, which I just don't understand when my legs are so sore from working out that I can barely move! One step at a time, small goals Katie....doh. 


Well, I think i'll stop boring you will my ramble. There was no rhyme or reason behind this blog, just to tell everyone that i'm struggling to get through my work goals this week. I hope everyone finds this hump day to be a good one!


Oh, on a happy note...my best friend Hally Berg is driving down from Fort Collins to come hang out with me for the night. Little bit of girl time never hurt anyone :)
