I got to see my best friends from high school, this doesn't happen often so I was pretty excited! Emma and Alicia have two of the sweetest most well behaved boys out there! When John and I have kids I will certainly be looking to them for words of wisdom and advice! It is sometimes hard to believe how grown up we've all become, it seems like just yesterday we were graduating from North Country! I should say this is the only day/night I managed to take a few photos, I really kinda stink at remembering to take pictures!
It is always nice to go home, and it will ALWAYS be home but I was very happy to be landing back in Denver. John and I have a really great life here even though we both have so many people we miss back home--i'm not sure we'll ever leave Colorado! Thanks to everyone who made my trip a great one--especially to my amazing mom! She really is an incredible person, and i'm so glad I have some of her great qualities!
John and I have decided that we are going to go the puppy route for our next dog. The boxer, Jessie that we are fostering is a great dog but not quite the perfect match for us. I'm not sure what is more of a challenge, training a puppy or training a 3 year old dog with some really bad habit (bad habits for us anyways) but we're about to find out. I'll give you details and pictures of the puppy once things are squared away. If anyone in Denver is looking for a brindle boxer, Jessie is a very sweet girl and would make a great furever pet for the right family! We've just realized we have pretty high expectations for our dogs, and I think the only way to get that is from a puppy (call us crazy, we know).
