Another fast VT trip!

We just walked in the door from another very fast yet extremely fun trip to Vermont! The purpose of the trip was to go to Kathy and Jerry's wedding but it ended up being that and so much more! We "glamped" with Mom, Patrick, Deveney, Dex, Marc, Linda, Jeremi, Shannon as well as their kids Jamie and Emma :) And let me tell you, we laughed....and laughed and laughed. For those of you who may be confused by the "glamping" term, it's not camping by any stretch of the imagination due to my parents 39' camper that has nicer details than most houses! So there was nothing rough about this camping which is why Linda came up with the term "glamping'. We got to spend some good and much needed time with the family and family friends! John finally got to spend time with his sister, Christina and his cousin (our best man) Jeremi and his beautiful family! 

In between stuff for Kathy and Jerry's wedding I was able to try on my wedding dress again and get ideas for accessories with it AND we ordered both of our weddings bands! John had more opinion than he probably wanted, but that's what you get when you bring myself, my mom and  my sister into the jewelry store with you! My wedding band is being custom made which also means that they have to keep my engagement ring for 6-8 weeks...yes, I almost cried. But John bought me a beautiful Blue Topaz ring to wear as a spot holder and it'll also be my something blue for the wedding, i'll just wear it on my right hand!

Trips like these remind John and I how much Vermont will always mean to us. No, not just for the maple syrup and great beer but for the incredible PEOPLE that we have there. Family and friends mean a great deal to us, so going to Vermont and spending time with them truly is something we cherish. There is never enough time when we head East, so we do apologize if we didn't get to see people or get to really talk with you when we did see you... but just know that we LOVE you all! On the flip side, we are really glad to be out of humid country and back in the dry heat! We were happy to come back to Colorado and have it be a very nice 80 degrees instead of the 100's that we left in. 

We are really looking forward to Jamaica when so many close friends and family will all be together!! Sounds like people are really looking forward to it!
