A week (or two) full of good times!

Phew!  My Mom flew in on Thursday Morning and she left first thing this morning and boy was it great having her here, we had a blast! I think it was last December when we saw that Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw were coming to town and decided that Mom had to fly to Denver to go! After going back and forth on whether on not to come out, Patrick decided she was coming and bought her a ticket! So to Tim and Kenny we went on Saturday and we also went to Zac Brown Band on Friday night up in Cheyenne! Both concerts were amazing but i'd say Tim and Kenny took the lead in awesomeness! As always we did a lot of running around while Mom was here and of course we did alot of eating and drinking--it's what we do.

We officially have wedding guests who have purchased their plane tickets! My brother and Amy! It makes reality set in that Jamaica will be here in no time! My wedding dress should be in within the next couple months and my wedding band should be made in the next 6 weeks or so! We're rounding up some details on the wedding but it has really been the most easy and stress free process and i'm very grateful for that! We are more excited to have all of our friends and family together than we are about the wedding, it's not very often we get to have SO many people together at once and for a vacation at that!

Besides having mom in town we haven't had a ton going on...we had a great weekend with our friends Matt and Amy a couple of weekends ago--a weekend of unplanned events, just how I like it! We went for a hike and ended up at their house for an awesome dinner and mojitos!

I'm going to take a moment and complain...about how HOT it is here this summer! And go ahead say "it's a dry heat though" I don't care, hot is hot my friends! We haven't had a day below 90 in a LONG time and without having air conditioner and with working from home...leaves me not always the most comfortable. Anyways, I look forward to the day where I feel the need to put on a pair of jeans and a hoodie...ahhh I can't wait. Rant over.

I'm still really liking my new job, it's kinda overwhelming some days--recruiting at the volume I am recruiting at is alot of work! DaVita as a company is really an incredible place, i've probably said that before but I really mean it! I'm doing my best to not be working all the time but, when you work from your home that's easier said than done. It's easy to just sit down and go through e-mail or see what I have for new candidates etc. John is fast to remind me that I shouldn't be working, so that helps.

I hope everyone finds themselves enjoying summer and soaking in all the good times :)
