It's January, Already?

Well, it's certainly been awhile since I've sat down and rambled so here we go! As most of you probably know we went to Vermont for Christmas and it turned out to be a GREAT trip! As I get older spending quality time with my family becomes more and more important to me. Maybe that's because we're so far from the family? Or maybe it's because i'm turning into that mushy adult I never really thought i'd be? Who knows.

The biggest and greatest event of the entire trip was the surprise Jack and Jill party everyone put together for John and I! After a 2.5 hr trip from Manchester, NH taking 4 hours we were surprised by what seemed like 50 people in our garage. It was probably more like 30 people but still, we were beyond excited. My parents can throw one heck of a party in their garage! A HUGE thanks to everyone that took part in putting it together and dealing with i'm sure, a very stressed mother while she was trying to get everything to be perfect! A special thanks to the Nadeau family for A. transporting us from Manchester B. Allowing us to use that INCREDIBLE bar, that was great!!! C. For everything else you did and for helping out my mom and sister! To Mom, Pat and Deveney for coming up with the plan and making it happen--SO grateful. Oh and Dex, thanks for dealing with the freaking out of them all :) For everyone that came both near and far THANK YOU! We are truly blessed to have so many great people in our lives!

If anyone that is reading this was at the party and has photos, I'd love to have them!

After we recovered from the party true family time began. By family time I mean, we all watched movies, ate alot, drank our share and for once we just RELAXED! Even my Mom did a pretty good job at relaxing which is something she simply does not do. Good job Mom! Tyler John and I went and met up with my Dad, Emily and Dan for Dinner which was very nice-- J. Morgan in Montpelier is great! On Christmas eve we always open up our Christmas Pajamas and this year mom nailed on the head with all our favorite sweatpants :) Most of us stayed in these sweatpants for the remainder of Christmas week (I wish I could say that they were washed, ha).

Mom And Diddy at the JVI for lunch!
This is how we do. Christmas Eve

Yes, that's a sippy cup...she breaks glasses like a boss
Tugger knows how to open his own gifts!
So Serious
Diddy loves Christmas more than anyone I know
Love these two <3
Once Christmas was over the snow started coming in! It snowed, and snowed and snowed and I loved every single minute of it! John was supposed to leave Thursday after x-mas but he ended up changing his flight and staying with us in the snow! We bundled up and went out and played/shoveled in the snow and I have to say, I enjoyed it! We don't really get snow days like that here in Denver so we soaked it up! We also went up to the Jay Peak Water Park--fun times! John and Dexter may have gotten concussions (trying to surf) but it was fun regardless! It amazes me that the little ski mountain I grew up on is becoming such a mark in VT! I got a chance to go out with the girls...we tried taking pictures but the pictures did none of us any good so i'll refrain from sharing that.

Overall, it was a great trip and it was incredibly nice to see all the family for the holiday!

NOW~~~ it's wedding crunch time! Hitting the gym BIG TIME, buying bathing suits and getting all the loose ends together for the wedding! I'm not going to lie, i'm slightly stressed but that's mostly because I don't have control over so many things until we get to the resort.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and that the new year brings wonderful things for you! To everyone that is going to Jamaica, we CANNOT wait to be in the sun with you in just a few short months!!!
